Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have been dating for about a year and like to show their love in cute Instagram snaps and cuddly red carpet appearances. Now, the newly divorced singer-songwriter is broadcasting her relationship with the rapper in a major—and super committal—way.
Just a week after finalizing her divorce from ex Dot da Genius, the 29-year-old “Bed Peace” singer got Big Sean’s face permanently inked on the back of her arm. LA-based celeb tattoo artist Miryam “The Witchdoctor” Lumpini did the honors, posting pics of her work on Instagram.
It’s big. It’s bold. And did we mention permanent?
Now, we’re all for a couple in love and the “While We’re Young” singer sure has said some romantic things about her new-ish amor, calling Big Sean “the love of my life” in a recent interview with Billboard. But, this tattoo is major, and it doesn’t appear that the gesture was reciprocated.
Plus, if Nick and Mariah taught us anything it was that getting someone’s name or likeness on your body can be a costly, and painful, mistake.
Seems lots of The Witchdoctor's followers are just as skeptical. User mommadangeraz wrote, "She'll come back in a couple months asking you to cover it up with the rose tattoo" danycehall914 added, "theyre not even married OH LAWD" and jeremynotsotall pointed out, "Amber Rose got a tattoo of Wiz Khalifa in the exact same spot HAHAHAHAHA"
Here’s hoping that for Ariana Grande and Naya Rivera’s ex, the third high-profile relationship’s a charm!
